A reconstruction of machine has been conducted in Burkina Faso as the Caterpillar program "Certified Rebuild".

This program directed by the dealer allows anyone with a CAT machine to give a "true" second life to materials and the following benefits:

• a degree of quality and finish "Factory made" ,
• CAT warranty of 12 months,
• a cost equivalent to 58 to 65% of new for most models.

The model was a D7G 79V delivery in 1973 and totaling 19,562 hours of work. it took 1560 hours of work to execute precisely the program.

- The machine has been certified by Caterpillar in April 2009 and joined the fleet of Burkina Equipements Rental.

Note: a simplified variant of this program called Certified Power Train (CPT) is also feasible. This solution allows a kinematic (engine, torque converter, transmission, final drives) reconditioned by the dealer and warranty by Caterpillar.
